I was thrilled to take part in the launch of the Art Market & Art Finance Monitor, a new research platform developed at SDA Bocconi under the direction of Professor Andrea Rurale to bring greater transparency and data-driven insight to the art market.

Together with Susan de Menil and the Art Antiquities Blockchain Consortium (AABC), we introduced new areas of collaboration between AABC and Bocconi, including a research project exploring how technology, ethics, and finance can contribute to visibility and accountability for artworks with uncertain provenance.

The launch followed the Art and Finance Conference organized by Deloitte at Citi in NYC, led by Adriano Picinati di Torcello and Anders Petterson, which offered a forward-looking reflection on how data and transparency are reshaping the field.

I am deeply grateful to Professor Andrea Rurale for his vision and partnership, and to the Bocconi Alumni New York chapter, hosted by Carlo Bronzini, for bringing together such an inspiring group of alumni and friends.

The week was a reminder of how academia, technology, and the art world can come together to foster knowledge, collaboration, and a more transparent future for the market.
